Owner/Head of Operations, Marketing & a Culinary Enthusiast
Chef Tolu has a deep passion for the culinary industry and has over 10 years of experience with food preparation, it has always been a form of creative expression to her. Tolu takes great pleasure in exploring the different dimensions of flavours that can be found through different cultures and cuisine. She deeply enjoys having the freedom and ability to customise and create dishes that have powers beyond physical satisfaction and are aesthetically pleasing.
The Pretty Cuisine as a brand was channeled not only through her raw passion for the culinary industry but her innate desire to be the answer a problem that had pressed on her heart for many years.
Over the years, disappointment and lack of satisfaction became a regular feeling for her after visiting many restaurants. She noticed that only a few restaurants had been able to maintain high quality standards. Majority of the time, the food produced used would be of a good standard, but lacking in the flavour department or tasty but poorly presented. On other occasions, the food standard would be abysmal in every department.
Her observation of this inspired her to strive to be the answer to the problem. She was intent on creating a brand that provides dishes that are consistently tasty, made with immaculate quality of food produce, and is always well presented. She also wanted to break the stigma that food that looks good, does not taste good.
She desired for the masses to enjoy this unique experience in the comfort of their chosen space, hence the Pretty Cuisine private dining and catering experience was birthed.
