How are the costs for private chef services calculated?
The prices reflected are broken down into price per person and include the cost of (purchase of Ingredients, the process of preparation), there is also a separate non-discretionary charge of services, which is calculated in accordance to the number of guests present and being served at your event.
An additional fee of transportation will also be included in your bill. This fee covers the cost of travel to and from your property.
Do all guest have to choose the same menu options? (PRIVATE DINNING EXPERIENCE)
**PLEASE NOTE** All dinner parties with a ‘COURSE’ Menu, are subject to a MAXIMUM selection of 2
OPTIONS PER COURSE. For an example, depending on the menu of choice, each guest must choose: one of the starter options, one of the main options with two accompaniments consisting of one carbohydrate and one vegetable option; and one of the dessert options.
All guests must CHOOSE options within the SAME CUISINE.
For instance, if the ‘Rustic range’ is the chosen cuisine, all guests are subject to choosing 1 option between 2 options in the menu of that same cuisine.
An example:
Shree has chosen these two entrees and two desserts within the rustic range cuisine for her dinner party of 8 to choose from. They will now chose 1 entrée and 1 dessert each from the two options.

If you have a larger dinner party and will require a course menu please fill in the booking enquiry form. Once we have received your complete form, our chef will contact you to discuss and put together a custom menu suitable for your dinner party size.
Do you provide table decorations or do decorations in general?
Yes, table decorations/celebration decoration for events such as wedding proposals, anniversaries, Birthdays, and date nights can be arranged at an additional fee. Tables and chairs are also available as part of this service. If you would this alongside your meal for your event please inform us and we can arrange a telephone consultation to discuss your personal requirements/themes etc.
Buffet Services
(This service is for Grazes, Canapes, brunches, and evening functions. It is a self-serve service which enables guests to take plates stacked at the beginning of a table and proceed along and help themselves to whatever they would like from the assortment of food items)
Our Luxury buffet service experiences are bespoke, so prices are subject to individual requirements. If you require this service please complete the questions from the booking enquiry form. Once we have received the completed form, we will get back to you as soon as possible to further discuss your enquiry.
Please note that this service has MINIMUM budget of £1000.
Is the Private Chef Service fee non-discretionary/mandatory?
Yes. The service charge is non-discretionary and mandatory and is determined by the number of guests present at your event and is calculated as 20% of your final bill excluding travel fees.
What does your service include?
The Private Chef Service covers the cost of the thorough preparation needed to meet your needs to best standards. All food produce is locally and intricately sourced for the freshest and best quality. Our team will arrive to your property with all the ingredients for your meal and depending on your choice of service style, we will either prepare and serve each course to each guest or put together a beautiful display for a buffet. Our team will also ensure that all kitchen areas are extensively cleaned.
How long do you need to prep?
The chef will arrive to your booking heavily prepped for example, arrive with vacuum sealed packaged seasoned meats, fish, chopped vegetables and garnishes. Once the chef has arrived at your property, unless decorations are required they will be ready to begin food preparations.
Your kitchen
We will require information about your property before service, such as accessibility, your kitchen space and available appliances.
My kitchen is small, can I still book your services?
Yes, you may. However, the chef may have to assist you in adapting your menu choices so that they are feasible given kitchen space, kitchen appliances and number of guests. Please contact us directly if you have any doubts about your kitchen space.
Do you provide tableware/crockery?
Tableware/crockery can be provided upon request at an additional fee. Please note that prices DO NOT include, tableware/crockery, table decorations or menu cards.
Do you have any entertainment options?
Yes, entertainment such as a saxophonist can be arranged for an extra fee upon request. Please enquire directly for further information.
Do you have a menu for children?
Yes, menu options for children can be arranged upon request.
Cancelation policy
You are able to cancel you appointment via email, however all deposits are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for another service in the event of a cancellation.
Payment information
A deposit of at least 30% of the final bill is required to secure your booking date. Only once the deposit has been paid is your booking date secured and reserved for you. Your invoice is only valid for 72 hours of it being issued to you. If the deposit has not been paid within this time period of then the booking date will be opened up again for others to book.
The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 5 working days prior to service, any later will result in an automatic cancellation. It is the responsibility of the host to remember this.
All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
